Why Do Dogs Eat Grass?
That is the question ~ it is not uncommon for dogs to eat grass. Studies show that dogs eat grass for many reasons but rest assured it will not harm your dog unless your grass has been recently treated with fertilizer, pesticide or other chemicals.
~ Here are just some of the reasons your dog eats grass ~
Because it makes them sick - dogs eat grass to help them vomit due to the build up of bile in their stomach. A dogs gallbladder will produce bile which is secreted into their stomach to aide in the digestion of fats
If grass if eaten on a daily basis may indicate a gastrointestinal problem and should be taken to a vet
Some dogs eat grass because they enjoy it

A dietary imbalance such as lacking in certain vitamins and minerals will cause a dog to eat grass
